Fritz seems to be one piece away from making a title run with Houston.

@CoolCyWrites Yes, but the risk is if you go for two, miss, then they drive, score, go for two and the win and get it, then it's way worse.

I'd be more inclined to want to go for two if it was a high-scoring game.

@Kara_Richey They're 2-0 since bringing them back.

To be loved and impacted by Coach Moore and Mrs. Margaret is one of life’s greatest blessings. They came all the way to Cincy and couldn’t wait to sit down with the Cardwell kids and tell them about their dad. Forever grateful for these two and these moments! @CoachCardwell_

@CBoxSports Took this pic at Jerry Moore's statue a couple months ago.

[Chatterbox Sports @CBoxSports]

Scott Satterfield has a really cool story about his mentor Jerry Moore.

Moore, who is 87, is a former Texas Tech HC and longtime Appalachian State HC. He drove from Boone, NC to watch the Bearcats take down Texas Tech, who fired him in 1985.

This is the part of Saturday where everyone realizes that Texas State is in yet another weird and close football game.

[TK from the Paper @tkpipedreams]

@NickStevensHS Only way it'll work is if NC State pays big bucks for the staff under Rivers and gets known recruiters and game planners. Even then, it's a massive learning curve.

Jason Eck the New Mexico coach would be a good phone call to make. He's a personality and has won at UNM and Idaho.

@gotechplsdntdie @LATechBSB I'm annoyed

App State Baseball's 2027 regular season ends in Ruston. https://t.co/PmCacsCMSU

[TK from the Paper @tkpipedreams]

@wpmcgee The 24 team playoff will take up that weekend so I think they're all gone.

It would be kinda funny if LaTech makes what is likely the final Sun Belt Conference Championship Game while South Alabama, ULM, Arkansas State, Southern Miss and Texas State never made it.

[go tech pls dont die @gotechplsdntdie]

Weird that the only undefeated team left in Sun Belt play was such a bad addition to the conference!

[TK from the Paper @tkpipedreams]

@stateswan We got Statesboro on Erk's 100th birthday, Huntington for the 75 game on the eaxct plane crash anniversary plus Mobile on Black Friday. Lots can happen.

[TK from the Paper @tkpipedreams]

Right now the Sun Belt runs through ... *checks notes* ... Ruston?
