Il faut qu'on parle de Chat Control, parce que ça se joue cette semaine et que presque personne ne comprend de quoi il s'agit.

En clair : l'UE veut autoriser le scan de vos messages privés. Vos conversations WhatsApp, vos mails, vos DMs. Pas ceux d'un suspect. Ceux de tout le monde, en permanence, par défaut.

Le prétexte est imparable, et c'est ça le piège : « protéger les enfants ». Personne ne peut être contre. C'est exactement pour ça que c'est l'outil parfait. On ne vous fera jamais avaler une surveillance de masse au nom de la surveillance de masse. On vous la fait avaler au nom des enfants, du terrorisme, de la désinformation. Toujours une cause que vous n'oserez pas contester.

Comprenez bien la mécanique en deux temps.

Aujourd'hui c'est la version « douce » : les plateformes ont le droit de scanner, sur la base du volontariat, les messages non chiffrés. Anodin en apparence. C'est le pied dans la porte.

Ensuite vient la vraie version, celle en négociation : le scan obligatoire, y compris de vos messages chiffrés, analysés directement sur votre téléphone avant même d'être envoyés. Plus de 500 cryptographes ont signé une lettre disant que c'est techniquement infaisable sans créer des failles de sécurité exploitables par n'importe quel hacker ou État hostile. Vous cassez le chiffrement pour tout le monde, y compris pour les criminels que vous prétendez traquer.

Et le pire n'est même pas là.

Le vrai danger n'est pas que les technocrates de Bruxelles vous surveillent demain. Ils sont probablement trop mous pour ça. Le danger, c'est qu'ils construisent l'infrastructure. Une fois que scanner les messages de tout le monde est devenu normal, légal, opérationnel — le rail est posé. Et sur ce rail roulera tout ce qui vient après. Le jour où une crise portera au pouvoir des gens sans scrupules, ils n'auront rien à inventer. La machine sera déjà là, clé en main.

Aucune infrastructure de surveillance n'est jamais restée cantonnée à son usage d'origine. Aucune. C'est une loi de la nature administrative : un outil construit pour X finit toujours par servir à Y.

Ce qui rend ce texte dangereux, ce n'est pas ce qu'il fait aujourd'hui. C'est ce qu'il rend possible pour toujours.

Le vote décisif est jeudi. Le dernier verrou.
