In Pune, three social workers were illegally detained, abused, used obscene language and were beaten up by the Kothrud police for helping a victim.
The incident happened on Saturday night, but the police are not registering an FIR.

This is the price of helping a friend who is a victim of domestic violence (her father-in-law is believed to be a police officer in Aurangabad).

These three were living in a rented house in Kothrud. Now they have been asked to vacate the house.

@VBAforIndia karyakartas are protesting at the Police Commissioner's office. They will not back down until an FIR is filed against the Kothrud police.

We had to go to the Supreme Court for an FIR in #JusticeForSomnathSuryawanshi, and the police are still not improving.
