@ukedchat Some individuals are better at dealing with stressful situations than others #UKEdChat Q4 - As teachers, you never know when an anxiety situation will occur, and teaching always need to be ready for it.

@ukedchat I think there are many factors here #UKEdChat Q3 - I don’t think the recent events have helped, especially for those with exams in the near future, or going to a new school, or even a fear of catching and passing the virus.

@ICTmagic @ukedchat Part of anxiety involves uncertainty #UKEdChat It is easy to create a story in our heads that can catastrophises imaginary situations rather than the reality.

Has been delivered in schools who support students with cognitive challenges and offers a range of strategies that can be adapted depending on age, ability or subject ☺️
