this is the most fine movie of all time for me, i dont think its bad by any stretch of the imagination but it really feels like several 'good' movies tossed together instead of one singular amazing one
Why do we have weekly posts about this now as if people are logging their jerk off sessions and not just interested in a valid and important part of film history?
the beast (2023), i hate myself (2013), noroi (2005), Kuroneko (1968), evilspeak (1981), resurrection (2025), and green room (2015) could have replaced some on here bc i like all these the same amount as a lot on this list
@texhnolyzedfish all the private K scenes felt wholly realized and were such a wonderful trip there were a lot of scenes at their (home? Hotel?) where it felt like he had no idea what to do with the girls which makes sense given that he shot chronologically lol he was still working out the kinks
@texhnolyzedfish I laughed so hard when that person tried to intellectualize his work and he was like “I agree with whatever you just said… but no im more concerned with experiences not so much what they represent” lol
@charlimitvictim@regularaugust I think it’s a bit of both pitch black situational comedy and horror (mostly comedy) I was just meme’ing bc it has afraid in the title lol 😛 and everyone pretended it was a billion hours long
