I just sent this to @digitalartery. I found it amusing.
Not hating on that community, but it's hard to find the type of inspiration I am after!
So anyway, what are some scary/intense werewolf books similar to The Howling and Cycle of the Werewolf?

Did you miss us? COMING 9/29 - Bret McCormick's THE ABOMINATION (1986) Collector's Edition Blu-Ray. Limited Ed. slipcase and comic book with first pressing. So incredibly stoked to finally share this with all of you! Pre-order link soon.
Always invigorating to see old pro auteurs bringing off-kilter, bleak perspectives to a genre film. Coupled with imagery like this, the desert wind soundscapes acting as score made YELLOW SKY (1949, dir. William Wellman) a surprisingly doom-laden first watch for me.
so my youtube channel has been taken down due to "sexual content in my films".......here is some more sexual content for you then youtube....go fuck yourselves.

It's been a long journey, but my book on V-Cinema (aka my first academic monograph) is finally a thing you can hold and read, thanks to Routledge publishers
You can rent or buy both #ThirdSaturdayFilms on @AppleTV now!
THE THIRD SATURDAY IN OCTOBER PART I: https://t.co/aZAoO8XSO6
THE THIRD SATURDAY IN OCTOBER PART V: https://t.co/2QLO43c915
Stoked to see both movies will be getting a release from Dark Sky. Very fun movies. Especially how Part V captures all that off beat sequel feel of an established franchise.
THE THIRD SATURDAY IN OCTOBER Part 1 was the definitive 80s slasher you've never seen. THE THIRD SATURDAY IN OCTOBER PART V proves the slasher was alive and well into the 90s.
On May 5th, @darkskyfilms & @tsiofilms bring both of them home.
Some Twitter-dweeb made a post about Latvian films to try and accomplish...something?
Anyway, I decided in response, I would recommend the 2014 Latvian horror movie THE MAN IN THE ORANGE JACKET. Good movie and currently on Tubi.

If someone tells you a print "smells slightly of vinegar," it means the print's smell will strip the skin of the bones of anyone that comes within 20 feet of it.
I can't believe I am scanning a 35mm print of Ed Wood's NIGHT OF THE GHOULS... and its got the REVENGE OF THE DEAD title card that was only on the preview version.
Edward D. Wood Jr. made a movie with style, humour, the original big tiddy goth, a gay alien, a zombie wrestler, and Dracula himself. No one today has any business thinking it's the worst movie ever made. It's cheap af but genuinely cool.
