Both nations have upheld their obligations pursuant to the humanitarian mission, as of 5:30pm Kyiv time on October 27, 2026.
Dmytro Lubinets, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, has confirmed.
BREAKING: Russia-Ukraine ceasefire expands across the Kherson region following mediation by Melania Trump & Pope Leo XIV, in what Ukraine calls the “largest de-escalation since 2022.”
Nigeria’s debt interest payments exploded to N7.7 trillion in the first half of 2026 — a jaw‑dropping 124.2% of total revenue of N6.2 trillion. In plain English: the government paid N1.5 trillion more in interest than it even earned. Omo, the country is paying debt with borrowed oxygen. A fiscal crisis is no longer looming; it has arrived.
Jensen Huang was awarded the National Medal of Science today which is the highest science honor in the U.S.
There is something pretty special about watching son of immigrants reach absolute top of his field and still make his parents part of the story.
Lol. The original fuel subsidy was introduced as a temporary "price stabilisation" meant to last only 6 months to shield Nigerian consumers from the oil price shock from the 1973 Arab Israeli war by Gowon in the early 70s.
History repeats itself, as a farce.
42 years ago, I started @Dell with $1,000 in my dorm room. Today, I’m deeply honored to receive the National Medal of Technology and Innovation. 🇺🇸
Thank you @POTUS. This honor belongs to the incredible teams, partners and customers who made it possible.
The best is yet to come.
Keep building 🚀

I do not think Olah is a bad man. He has acted in good faith, and I have credited him for engaging the Church while much of his industry sneered at the encyclical. But the ask shows how little Silicon Valley understands the Church, or religion at all.
Last fall I wrote that the industry’s original sin is a refusal to recognize any authority greater than itself, a temptation as old as Genesis: to be like God. Ten months later, that temptation is alive inside one of the more thoughtful labs in the business.
In professional settings, I have spoken with the people who work in the religious outreach efforts at the frontier labs (some call them philosophy teams, others describe their work as the philosophical underpinnings of the models), and at times I have come away unimpressed.
Few of them know Catholicism well. In one crude example, a man I met in person at a coffee shop (not a Michelin star restaurant!) who was a key contact for the Catholic community did not know what an encyclical was. He could not pronounce the word, and he kept calling the pope Leo XII.
There is a lot of work to do here. https://t.co/H2zMAGdGHi
NEW: According to a bombshell report in the New York Times, Anthropic co-founder Chris Olah threatened to walk out of Pope Leo XIV’s AI encyclical launch in May because the pope rejected the idea that machines can be conscious.
Olah’s team then privately lobbied the pope’s advisers “to take the possibility of model consciousness seriously.” Pope Leo XIV held firm.
For months, Anthropic has wined and dined theologians and religious scholars under nondisclosure agreements, hoping they would bless the idea that Claude has moral standing. https://t.co/iG3Bnlzt2J
Applied Electrodynamics is building cameras that can see through walls and other opaque materials.
Using radio waves, they can locate studs, pipes, cables, and junction boxes behind surfaces like drywall or marble and turn it into a dimensionally accurate 3D model.
