I’m leaving the Polkadot Ecosystem 🥲

Here are the 10 reasons why👇

1️⃣ Their upgrades are still forkless & the rest of crypto already have fork ones

2️⃣ Nakamoto Coefficient 94 shows it’s the most secure major Altcoin. But it hasn’t beat Bitcoin yet

3️⃣ It has the second biggest number of full time Devs & 10% of all code commits in Web3 come from Polkadot. But it hasn’t beat Ethereum yet

4️⃣ Almost all major altcoins are mentioned by SEC & announced a security

Polkadot doesn’t ever get mentioned, despite trying („Secured by Polkadot, blablabla)

It claimed to be a software just to be somethin’

5️⃣ The biggest gaming chain (Mythos Chain) by @mythicalgames with 800k wallet addresses & 4.2Mil txs a month is leaving Ethereum for Polkadot but took a year to bring its fat AAA ass here. Coming soon in spite of all 🥹

6️⃣ I spent months promoting Agile Coretime & the Blockspace as a Service concept as Polkadot 2.0. Everybody was happy, that Polkadot would sell blockspace as a commodity leveraging multiple Cores, secured & tailored to needs for all Web2/Web3 projects. And burn the revenue making the protocol more deflationary 🔥

But then comes Dr Gavin Wood & says this is just a part of it & Polkadot 2.0 will be a much bigger & revolutionary concept with JAM Chain

Now I would need to rewrite content again

So what He is decades ahead in ideas?

- Wrote Solidity for Web3 dudes
- Wrote Ethereum in 3 weeks
- Wrote Polkadot
- Wrote Agile Coretime on a napkin
- But now He needs a Supercomputer (12.276 Cores, 16TB RAM) to test JAM?

7️⃣ Becoming a Parachain was long & expensive. Now this @TanssiNetwork comes & says there are already 300+ Projects building on Polkadot & the deployment takes minutes/hours not months

I expect a general strike from the Parachains!

8️⃣ Polkadot was designed as an Ethereum killer. But now it betrayed itself & did a Polkadot-Ethereum bridge 🥲

On top of that @hyperbridge_ will help Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB, Base, Arbitrum etc

They wanna use Cores on Polkadot to improve data availability for Ethereum rollups!

Ethereum-based chains won’t have bottleneck issues anymore, will be faster & will benefit from Polkadot’s security

Good that it’s only part of what it does…

9️⃣ Neurolanche X Labs @neurolanche a Tier I dApp on Astar Network wants to use Account abstraction to attract thousand of Web2 Users into their GameFi & AI products (and bringing them on mobile also)

So they can log into blockchain just by e-mail (no wallet needed, sic!) & pay with fiat via google pay etc (no token needed, sic!)

Why do they get to avoid the challenges of Web3?
