🥳 Today we conclude the #Dig_ITProject, a journey that began four and a half years ago with the aim of transforming the #miningindustry, and which ends today with great results achieved!
Last but not least, thanks also to our Advisory Board members, @HolgerHopi, Iñaki Martínez de Osaba and Enrico Borella, whose insights and support have been invaluable. It was a pleasure to have you with us at the closing event in Seville, sharing your expertise and vision.
We've put together a special video to get you up close and personal with the action! Dive into the highlights, from our presence at the @MMHSeville stand to the sessions at our Final Workshop and Review presentations.
To conclude the journey, we held our Final Review on the 17th, during which we presented the Dig_IT results to the Project Officer, Dimos Paraskevas, and our external expert, Angel Rodríguez.
Thank you to each of the Digiters who made this success possible. 🙏
A highlight was the Dig_IT Final Workshop on the 16th, where over 40 people joined us to celebrate our achievements and discuss the future of #mininginnovation.
In this video, you'll travel to our use cases, and discover the innovative technologies and expert insights from the dedicated consortium partners who made it all possible.
This video takes you through the journey of Dig_IT, an ambitious #Horizon2020 project that aims to revolutionise the mining industry by creating a human-centric platform that prioritises worker safety, environmental sustainability and operational efficiency.
⚒️ Explore Dig_IT Use Cases! ⚒️
🇫🇮 In our last episode, we introduce you to the Kemi mine, a mine located in the Finnish Lapland owned by Tapojarvi. This use case focuses on enhancing predictive maintenance and improving #airquality in the mining environment.
🌬️ Nemko Norlab developed air quality sensors, while CORE Innovation Centre developed #machinelearning models and algorithms to predict air quality conditions, all contributing to the #smartgarment system that monitors and protects the health of mine workers.
