Crater of Diamonds Update!
I threw a couple centers to check the quality of gravel I brought home from the COD.
Look at this little beauty. 😍 A 62 point ruby red garnet.
Unsearched gravel from this trip will be selling on eBay in a couple weeks! I’ll keep you updated. Tt

Driving home I tried 3 times to eat at McDonald’s. First I waited at the open register until I felt invisible…then tried the Kiosk, didn’t work…I left. 30 miles later… drive up only…I left. 45 miles later…restaurant on wrong side of highway. I ate at Wendy’s instead. Tt

Day 3 Crater of Diamonds…
Dug and wash 11 1/2 buckets of gravel today. Yup…I pooped out with just 1/2 more bucket to fill.

All gravel came out of the east drain. I’ll flip some centers when I get home. If there’re good I’ll post some unsearched gravel for sale on eBay. Tt

Day 2 Digging for diamonds at the Crater of Diamonds State Park.
Hot 🥵 I managed to fill and wash 12 buckets today despite the heat. It took a lot out of me though.

Yes…96 degrees in Murfreesboro Arkansas seems hot. I’m trying…but getting only about 50% production out of myself. I need a raise!

Arrived - The Crater of Diamonds!
I got to the COD just before noon. My plan was to dig gravel today and wash tomorrow. 100 degree heat didn’t agree with me though. It took 4 hours to dig the same amount of gravel I would usually dig in 2. 🤬 Tomorrow I’ll get a earlier start.
