Thank you, Ambassador @tamasivankovacs, for making the evening so enjoyable for our young visitors. They appreciated your insights and were grateful for the chance to hear from such an experienced diplomat!
“It is important not to stay on the sidelines, but to engage. That is how we learn about the world, about politics and public life, and how we take responsibility for the decisions we make as a society.” — H.E. Dr. Tamás Iván Kovács

"I hope that we all come out of this meeting with greater hope. In a world that seems to be darkening day by day, I hope every one of us goes home with new ideas of how we can change our family, our community, and, together, make an influence for good in our nations where we live—to care for those in need, here, right now, where we are,"
— Eric Rottermann
Occasione persa.
That said, I would never do or justify anything like that against any religious symbol—or any symbol, even a secular one, that is dear to someone else. Is it allowed by freedom of speech? Perhaps. But it is not allowed by my conscience and sense of civility.
What a bunch of lame excuses these people can pull without shame! Who cares about the thousands of Christian believers who live in Belgium? But hey, Islam and Judaism? No way—too dangerous or too disrespectful. The state should pull funding from these haters. [>>]
This Monday, we had the opportunity to host an International Women’s Day roundtable in Brussels highlighting how freedom of religion or belief helps women flourish—as individuals and as contributors to their community.
Thank you to our panelists @kschnurbein , @Adina_Portaru & Marcela Szymanski, as well as the attendees, for the insightful exchange we were able to have.

On Monday, I had the great privilege of accepting on behalf of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the highest award the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo can give.
This honor recognizes the 100-year anniversary of the preaching of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in South America and the humanitarian work carried out by the Church in this state.
I want to thank the members of the @Ch_JesusChrist in Brazil who give of their time to bless the lives of people in Brazil. Because of their faith in Jesus Christ, they love God and love their neighbor. That is what this recognition represents.

Today our team joins the @EUantisemitism’s call to remember the victims of the Shoah. We light this candle in honour of Aharon Rozenfeld, whose life was taken during the Holocaust. May remembrance strengthen our collective commitment to dignity, human rights, and freedom for all.
