@marklevinshow He is dangerous and should be removed along with the jihadist puppet regime in Damascus who are slowly incubating a new generation of terrorists far more extreme than Hamas and Hezbollah.
@lalshareef@Nervana_1 Lowlife savages. A terrorist will always remain a terrorist. He cannot open a bottle of water call it " complicated". Influence should be applied to the US to remove their protection from the jihadist puppets of Damascus
Turkey’s most recent provocation and its military presence in Cyprus threatens one of our closest allies and the stability of the Eastern Mediterranean.
For too long, Turkey has violated Cyprus’ sovereignty and territorial integrity with impunity. That must no longer be the case. The United States must stand with the people of Cyprus and make clear we will not tolerate Turkey’s aggression against our ally by demanding the removal of all Turkish F16s from Cyprus.
Sen. Graham is right. I’ve been discussing the situation in NE Syria with Republican House leaders.
It is not in America’s interest for Islamist forces to seize territory once governed by trusted U.S. allies who protected minorities and advanced religious freedom. Yet this is happening as Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa’s forces move into northeast Syria, displacing the Syrian Democratic Forces—our partners in the fight against ISIS, who lost thousands of fighters, guarded U.S. bases, and detained ISIS prisoners. Before we place trust in al-Sharaa, a former al-Qaeda insurgent who fought U.S. forces in Iraq and was held at Abu Ghraib, he has to show he is trustworthy. So far, he is failing the test.
Over 11,000 SDF fighters gave their lives to defeat ISIS. Now their graves are being desecrated — a crime under international law — by the very forces they’re told to integrate with. #Syria
The Kurds have been doing our dirty work in NE Syria against ISIS and established a religiously plural democracy. Ambassador Barrack has betrayed them, Christians in Syria and our country for Turkey. His behavior is a disgrace. He should be recalled. https://t.co/lbIozC50mJ
🇮🇱🇬🇷 No Separate Fronts
This week in Athens, @Israel_katz and @NikosDendias, the Israeli and Greek defence ministers, consolidated a partnership that has moved from alignment to strategic substance.
The visit ends tomorrow.
Air, sea, intelligence, interoperability.
Necessary. Obvious.
And then the question that sits in the room.
The Kurds.
In northern Syria.
And in Turkey.
Because right now in northeastern Syria, a decisive compression is underway.
Kurdish forces are being pushed into arrangements that dilute, absorb, and remove them as an actor.
Damascus is reasserting control.
Ankara is demanding disarmament. ISIS detention facilities and camps are shifting hands at the most sensitive possible moment.
If the Kurds are defeated, this is not a Syrian detail, but a regional mechanism.
As one front closes, Ankara’s decision cycles shorten, freeing attention, resources, and coercive capacity. That same pressure reappears across theatres we already face: the Eastern Mediterranean. Cyprus. Libya. The Aegean. Somalia. Wherever Turkey tests for delay, fragmentation, and the absence of cost.
The front vis à vis Turkey is one front.
Those who compartmentalise it misread it.
Israel and Greece have the capacity to counter Turkey.
Militarily, in air and sea, intelligence, technology, coordination.
And morally, too. Two democracies. Two blue and white flags, as Prime Minister Netanyahu once put it.
The decisive test of Israel Greece cooperation is not only what we build together, but which red lines we understand together.
Because if the Kurds fall today, we face the same Turkey tomorrow.
Closer. Less constrained.
More convinced that time, not resistance, is on its side.
HTS regime Jihadi forces entering ISIS detention centers in Syria, welcoming the "liberation" of the "jihadi brothers" in the coming smooth "Caliphate". While the West is drunk with illusions.
Brace for the coming mega ISIS.2 in your cities and country side. A video smashes propaganda to the ground
In the strongest terms possible, it is my core belief that America should defend the prisons in Syria that house the worst of the worst ISIS members. There are thousands of these lunatics in prisons, and if they get out, all hell will break loose. I’ve been saying this for years.
To the Syrian government: be on notice that an ISIS jailbreak is a disaster for the U.S., Syria and the region.
It is my belief that America should be unequivocal when it comes to these jails: defend by any means necessary. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Al-Jolani’s forces have released ISIS members from prisons of the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces in Deir ez-Zor.
Congratulations to the US envoy Tom Barack.
