@GodberTumushabe For example, you at times associate with people or groups of people, I personally disapprove of, but I have never questioned your competence as a lawyer or your knowledge of the law (and I do have views backed by evidence in this regard), leave alone your RIGHT TO ASSOCIATE.
President @KagutaMuseveni and his son MK are very lucky men. Their Bacwezi ancestors have not yet forsaken them. Had they slept on the job a fortnight longer and AAA was re-elected as Speaker of Parliament, she had built a war chest big enough to sponsor an impeachment of the President and with that single action, MK would be on the run by the end of this year! Mind you, she would remain with enough change to disable the security apparatus from any military coups.
In the game of strategy, timing is key.
Fellow Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu. Habaari. Greetings to all of you.
Of recent, I have noticed a lot of orwaari (noise, kelele), regarding the Sovereignty Bill. Which Sovereignty Bill is the rwaari about? The one I initiated in the Cabinet or another one? The Bill will stop FDIs (Foreign Direct Investments), support for religious bodies from abroad, Remittances from Ugandans working abroad, etc., etc. Really!! That is not the Bill I initiated.
Below is clarification on what I initiated.
Ham's Nakivubo channel development has officially drowned the noise. A man with a vision ultimately defeats the man with a television. Thank you Dr. @KiggunduHamis for your patriotism.

@SenateForeign The constant threats of sanctions against our CDF, @mkainerugaba, by the office of the chairman of our the foreign relations committee of the senate of the United States have become increasingly nauseating. They seem driven by a deliberate and sustained desire to find some fault and get even with Gen Muhoozi.
The CDF tweeted, based on available intelligence, that the US embassy in Kampala was involved with the opposition helping Bobi Wine escape. When corrected, and after talking to the USA ambassador, he deleted the tweets and apologized for the mistake. Yet the office of the chairman of the foreign relations committee of the USA senate, whose account is managed by a one JT (apparently an anti Uganda and anti MK staffer to the senator) then issued fresh tweet threatening sanctions.
First the CDF doesn’t mind USA sanctions. The USA has sanctioned Nelson Mandela, bugged Martin Luther King Jr, killed Patrice Lumumba, overthrown Kwame Nkrumah and much worse. Progressive Africa does not expect any gifts from Washington. What is nauseating is this constant use of threats as if we are children supposed to be managed by some white overload as was in the colonial period.
Uganda’s internal politics need to be left to Ugandans. Through our constant disagreements, political struggles, negotiations and compromises, we shall find our way. The involvement of foreign actors undermines this internal play for political forces and turns our country into a playground for foreign interests.
Dear senator, your country is on the verge of civil war. Can you please focus your attention on its internal problems and leave Uganda alone?

nambooze with theatrics 🤔
kabaka is not super natural / super human. he is a human being like all of us. i don’t see any problem with telling him to use a different route & he’s not complaining.
why nambooze’s crocodile tears?
mutebi is not a toddler, he can speak for himself.
my president, this is a tired talking point!
@hebobiwine, focus on your manifesto message instead of questioning despot museveni’s citizenship basing on what obote’s rhetoric.
alternatively, just sue the autocrat, as a lawyer instead of trading on the birther pedestrian talk…!
Not every Ugandan believes everything is collapsing. You guys' inability to accept that not everyone's vision of the country aligns with yours means you don't actually believe in democracy. To be fair, neither do I but for a different reason lol. You are as much a valued citizen of the country as an M7 supporter is, or anyone who supports neither side.
I expect any future regime to be just as violent as this one. Yes the next one will use their present treatment to justify the oppression of their past enemies when they come to power (a prospect you seem to be gleefully anticipating). Then when that regime also collapses (democratically or otherwise) the next regime after that will do the same. Africa's story is a story of cyclical violence. And you wonder why some of us don't waste braincells on this circus 😄
WHY UGANDA'S NTV PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE FELL SHORT OF INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS
========================
Last night's presidential debate on @ntvuganda was a mixed bag, with some candidates impressing viewers while others struggled to make an impact. _I am not an_ _expert on debates but these _are my_ _observations_ ; As I watched the debate, I couldn't help but compare it to the American presidential debates, which are widely regarded as the gold standard.
One of the most striking differences was the format. In American debates, candidates stand at podiums (though sitting can be forgivable), without the aid of pre_written notes, phones, teleprompters etc. This forces them to think on their feet and engage directly with the moderator and their opponents. In contrast, Bobi Wine seemed to rely heavily on his notes, which detracted from the overall quality of the debate. He kept reading from pre-written scripts, which was embarrassing to watch. It's worth noting that even students in school debates don't rely on notebooks, making it more disappointing, disrespectful, and disgusting to see a presidential candidate do so. His reliance on scripts not only undermined his credibility but also exposed the organizers of the debate for allowing such a lack of spontaneity which revealed a 'possible prior coaching'.
As it was with other candidates, I would also love to know why the moderators avoided directing to Bobi Wine more probing questions on #FOREIGN_POLICY, #ECONOMY, & #NATIONAL_SECURITY. These are critical issues that affect the country's future, and it's essential that our leaders have a clear vision and plan to address them. Instead, the debate seemed to focus more on populist rhetoric and personal attacks - laughable.
Furthermore, I was appalled that the organizers allowed some candidates to expose leaders of other countries that sponsor them live on TV. This was a grave mistake, as it could lead to future conflicts between Uganda and the mentioned countries. The moderators should have intervened to prevent this, and it's surprising that they didn't.
That being said, there were some bright spots. Gen. Mugisha @mugishamuntu and @FDCOfficial1 's Nathan Nandala @NandalaMafabi did a better job with their composure, policy depth, etc. Muntu, in particular, stood out for his calm and authoritative manner, while Mafabi showed a strong grasp of economic issues.
Overall, while the debate was a step in the right direction, there's still a lot to be improved. As voters, we deserve to see our leaders engage in robust debates that tackle the tough issues and provide a clear vision for the future. That's why they offered to contest while the rest of us didn't, we are not at the same level so we expect a lot from those who want to lead us.
FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY!
