​Viewed against the backdrop of mounting public anger across the country against the Gujarat lobby, and the growing activism of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), it becomes strikingly clear that the end of this anti-people regime is drawing near.
​The decision of the RSS to invite former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar as a guest to its annual Vijayadashami celebrations in Nagpur speaks volumes. Mohan Bhagwat’s invitation to him serves as a subtle yet clear message to the "Mo-Sha" leadership that they must prepare for their exit.
​Shivraj Singh Chouhan—who has been associated with the RSS since his childhood—recently criticized the action taken by the forest department in Kosmi village of Budhni tehsil (Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh), which resulted in the demolition of homes belonging to 12 tribal families. Terming it "the height of injustice," he placed the ruling party's government in the dock. Meanwhile, Vasundhara Raje highlighted her prowess in making the lotus bloom in the desert; former BJP National General Secretary Sanjay Joshi and other leaders met with Mohan Bhagwat in Delhi; and figures like Nitin Gadkari, Devendra Fadnavis, and other leaders continue to share close ties with the RSS. Together, these recent developments indicate that the Gujarat lobby faces a far graver threat from within than it does from without.
​Furthermore, a terrifying crisis regarding citizenship has been manufactured by deleting the names of approximately 133.5 million voters from electoral rolls. This sparked widespread public outrage against the "earthworm" Gyanesh Kumar, followed by inhumane police crackdowns on protesters. Combined with the Supreme Court's perceived failure to properly fulfill its constitutional obligations, the chants of "Vote Thief, Vacate the Throne" and nationwide demands for Modi’s resignation have driven the Gujarat lobby firmly onto the back foot.
​Agitators have also begun challenging the RSS’s inherent Hindu-Muslim divisive ideology. Consequently, the RSS senses its game unravelling. It realizes all too well that being openly rejected by the general public in this manner will render a century of its labor futile, and that the root cause of this predicament is the Gujarat lobby itself. Naturally, the question arises: why not rid themselves of it altogether?
​Altogether, the "Sengol-wielding monarch" and his so-called "Chanakya" find themselves engulfed in the gravest political crisis of their careers—one that continues to escalate by the day, defying even their most meticulous and heavy-handed arrangements.
​Under these circumstances, it will be fascinating to witness what the future holds for the Gujarat lobby currently enthroned in state power.
