Happy (and late) to share I've been promoted to Senior Film &
Entertainment Reporter at @MetroUK@Metro_Ents. So please continue to send me news, screening invitations and interview & other film-related opps. A reminder that I review as well as cover interviews/features/news!
Thinking of #ToyStory5 delivers a pang of emotion and nostalgia, even a few weeks later. It's genuinely moving - millennials who grew up with this franchise, prepare to be ruined. Its power remains undimmed, and tackling tech makes perfect sense. Truly one of the best sequels.
@TfL Hi there, it wasn't really a matter of replanning my journey - it was a matter of wishing passengers had been informed before it was too late to get off! It ended up a (very expensive) 80 minute delay going back on myself.
Love being on the Lizzy Line after a late shift at work which, after struggling with signalling issues near West Ealing, just decides to skip every station after Hayes & Harlington and take everyone unwillingly to Maidenhead? Train-napped by @TfL 🫠
@HastingsDirect Echoing others, completely unacceptable to have all methods of comms down at once. Trying to cancel my auto renewal but completely stuck. Tweeting y'day is not nearly good enough notice or method of comms to your customers. It's nearly 90mins after services should have resumed.
So many films I'm stoked about this year that I'm constantly tweaking my schedule, but I narrowed it down to 8 here...

My review for @MetroUK@Metro_Ents of #WutheringHeights
- I ate this up, I'm the target audience (no I'm not v attached to the novel). Emerald Fennell has a vision some will hate but I'm now obsessed with. Not perfect, but by God it's unapologetic

All the performances are top-notch, but especially those of Jacob and Alison Oliver. Casting has understandably ruffled feathers, but by God is he out to prove that he is Heathcliff (and brooding off the charts). I think book fans will be pleasantly surprised by this movie.
Oh #WutheringHeights is exactly what I asked it to be - bold, sensual and full of yearning. Some of Cathy and Heathcliff's toxicity has been smoothed out so it can wallow more in the love and romance that redeems them; it's a giddy and lush experience that made me feel 14 again.
Margot & Jacob's chemistry crackles, supported by Emerald Fennell's achingly emotional yet snappy adaptation of Emily Brontë's novel. There are some saucy scenes, but this isn't Saltburn 2.0 - the goal isn't to shock but to stir. This is exactly how you make this movie for 2026.
The review embargo has finally lifted on #28YearsLater: #TheBoneTemple - here's my spoiler-free (always) review for @MetroUK@Metro_Ents. Whatever it is you expected... it's not that!

Fellow critics and (I may regret this) #Avatar super fans! Do you think the franchise has a future? Writing a piece this PM and would love a few quotes to include. Pls EMAIL me TODAY (07/01) - tori [dot] brazier @ metro [dot] co [dot] uk. (I likely won't see here) Thank you!
Excuse my language, but I just got out of the first screening of #28YearsLater: #TheBoneTemple - and holy f*****g s**t. This has cranked everything up to 11 and I warn you, you will need a very strong stomach (or a sick bag). Also, Ralph Fiennes is truly phenomenal.
@AStupidiot Sorry to (evidently) disappoint you, but I gave 28YL 5 whole stars! Felt very different to 28DL (which I also adore) - but then this, again, is entirely its own beast.
