@firstroundmock@BearDownReport_ Maybe add in the rest of the scenario… “the interception came on a Hail Mary like throw…”
Most likely long down and distance scenario. Ball has to be put in play. Anyone who knows football knows that. Caleb historically doesn’t throw picks on early downs. Doesn’t kill drives.
@Jake_A___@Peter_Bukowski Oh it affects everyone for sure. Which is why the narrative pisses me off even more. It’s narrow mindedness by people who don’t get the game.
I’d defend Love just the same if people ripped on his “accuracy”…
@Peter_Bukowski “Accuracy” is being used far too liberally when it comes to people trying to hate on his game.
Did you know Caleb led the league in throw aways last years with roughly 40?
You think that impacts his COMPLETION PERCENTAGE? Or is that “accuracy”?
@Peter_Bukowski Easy copy and paste from my other reply to this…
Accuracy and completion percentage are not necessarily one in the same.
Caleb throws one away, completion percentage goes down.
Receiver drops a catchable pass (accurate by Caleb), but completion percentage still goes down.
@firstroundmock Dig a little deeper. Every stat I can find shows that for 2025, Caleb actually ranks near the top of the league in IAY and CAY.
But since you want to show one screenshot to tell your false narrative I’m sure you didn’t actually look at anything else.
@firstroundmock Accuracy and completion percentage are not necessarily one in the same. A “former” scout should know that.

@firstroundmock You do understand that every coach ever sets very high bar public expectations for their players? Like that’s kinda the idea. Or maybe you don’t actually know that and it’s why you are supposedly a “former” scout.
If they keep winning, he will get his payday…
@firstroundmock Your obsession over the Bears YAC is hilarious. This just means Caleb got the ball into the hands of his playmakers the way the offensive scheme was designed…
Look at Detroit during Ben’s tenure as OC. Near top of the league in YAC every year.
Sign of a good offensive coach.
@firstroundmock I mean you literally put the historical evidence in your own tweet…
Cool comeback around his time to throw in college still not being good. That wasn’t the point of your post.
If you wanted that to be the point, you shouldn’t have focused on “lip service” and evidence 🤣
@firstroundmock So what you are saying is that no quarterback ever has improved their accuracy and time to throw as they progress year to year in the NFL? Especially a quarterback going into year 2 with the same coach?
College is the example… Better every year is historical evidence lol
@firstroundmock Slang/Informal Meaning of a HATER: A negative or critical person who actively disparages, belittles, or criticizes others. In modern usage, this often describes individuals motivated by envy or jealousy who express unfounded dislike, particularly online.
This is you to a T 🤣

@Peter_Bukowski Ah yes, the good ole “it should’ve been a turnover but it wasn’t” argument. Would it make you feel better if Caleb just straight up handed the DBs the ball?
You may have forgotten this, but one of your beloved QBs is the all time interceptions thrown leader by a LONG shot.
@firstroundmock We never said it didn’t matter. You were just obsessive over it being the stat that proves he was a terrible QB… think about it, if he raises his completion percentage by even 3pts, he’s top 5 in yardage last year (top 7 as is).
Don’t even say BUT YAC!!!
@firstroundmock Ah yes, it must be horrible to be on this list when second in line is the 2025 NFL MVP 😂
Another *meaningless* stat that an “ex-nfl scout” will use to push a baseless narrative.
@firstroundmock Was there a point to this post? Seriously asking because last time I checked, the organization cleared house in 2024 and had a huge bounce back in 2025… so clearly Caleb wasn’t the common denominator for them losing…
