After careful consideration, I have decided to step away completely from the Professional Tennis Players Association. This decision comes after ongoing concerns regarding transparency, governance, and the way my voice and image have been represented.
It is with great sadness that we share the news of Dickie Bird's passing.
The Yorkshireman was a wonderful player and enjoyed a famed career as one of the game's most beloved umpires.
He died peacefully at his home, aged 92. Rest in peace, Dickie. 🤍
On July 29th 1986 Dennis Amiss scored his 100th hundred. Lancashire skipper Clive Lloyd agreed to Amiss' request to an extra half hour in a dead game so he could reach the landmark, Lloyd further helping by bringing on part-time bowlers (Ken Kelly)
