Today is the feast day of the Annunciation.
What happened today literally split history in two.

The Angel Gabriel appears to Mary and tells her she will bear the Son of God. The entire fate of the human race hinged on the absolute submission of a young, unmarried girl in Nazareth.

To understand the profound theology of the Annunciation, you have to understand the Fall.

In the Garden of Eden, a virgin (Eve) listened to a fallen angel, asserted her own prideful will, and brought death into the world. In Nazareth, a Virgin (Mary) listened to a faithful Archangel, submitted her will entirely to God, and brought Life Himself into the world.

As Saint Irenaeus wrote in the 2nd century: "The knot of Eve's disobedience was loosed by the obedience of Mary." She is the New Eve.

She gave her "Fiat" (Let it be done unto me according to your word). No hesitation, no thought about herself. Absolutely and holy obedient unto her Lord.

In that single moment of perfect obedience, the gates of hell were shattered, and the infinite Creator of the universe took on human flesh. The spiritual war for our souls officially turned the tide.

The Blessed Virgin Mary's fiat, her yes, opened the way to our salvation.

When she said her Fiat ("Let it be done to me"), the Holy Spirit overshadowed her. Mary officially became the living Ark of the New Covenant. The God who cannot be contained by the cosmos physically confined Himself to a mother's womb to wage war on sin and death.

The modern world screams, "My will be done." The Mother of God whispered, "Thy will be done."

And that whisper crushed the head of the serpent.

Two days ago I was contacted by a high-ranking employee of the French Government. After determining this person’s position and proximity to the French couple, I have deemed the information they gave me to be credible enough to share publicly in the event that something happens.

This is What Happens 1 Hour after You Die🇻🇦

Have you ever wondered what truly happens in the first hour after death? The moment your heart stops beating, everything changes, not just physically, but spiritually. The Church teaches that death is not the end, but the moment the soul meets eternity.

In the first few seconds, as your body grows still, your soul begins to separate. You will suddenly realize you are no longer bound by time or matter. You see everything with perfect clarity, your entire life flashes before you, not as a movie, but as a divine illumination of conscience. Every thought, word, and deed is revealed in the light of truth. You will see the love of God that sustained you, the times you rejected His grace, and the mercy He offered that you may not have noticed.

Within moments, the soul stands before God for what the Church calls the Particular Judgment. It is not like a courtroom with arguments and defense. It is immediate, intimate, and undeniable. You will see your soul exactly as God sees it, with all its beauty or its stains. You will understand the depth of every sin and the measure of every act of love. In that instant, you will know where your eternity belongs, Heaven, Purgatory, or, tragically, Hell.

For souls in grace who loved God sincerely, the encounter is full of peace. The merciful gaze of Jesus draws them home, where angels rejoice and the Blessed Virgin Mary welcomes them with open arms. For others, who lived with sin but still loved God imperfectly, the soul desires purification, a place we know as Purgatory, where divine love refines them before they enter Heaven’s joy. But for those who rejected God completely, this hour is filled with unspeakable sorrow, for they realize too late that eternal separation from God is the consequence of their choice.

Many saints, like St. Faustina and St. Catherine of Siena, described this transition vividly, the overwhelming mercy of Christ and the terrifying reality of sin. Heaven and Hell are not distant ideas; they become eternal realities in that first hour. The soul feels what words cannot describe: either the embrace of divine love or the absence of it forever.

This is why the Church urges us to live every moment in a state of grace, to confess our sins, receive the Eucharist, and remain faithful to God. Death can come at any hour, but for those who trust in His mercy, it is not an end, but a beginning, a homecoming.

Remember: your choices today echo in eternity. Live with love, pray with faith, and walk closely with Christ and His Blessed Mother.

4. We numb our emotions with food, drugs & alcohol, which makes the emotions come back even worse.

6. We don't allow ourselves to be bored anymore.

7. We created a pill for every ill.

8. We've decided that being entertained is more important than living.

9. We have a constant connection to our devices but no connection to ourselves & our communities.

10. We eat too many calories but not enough nutrition.

11. Testosterone levels are declining and some people think that’s a good thing.

12. Some scientists promote sugary cereals to be more nutritious than eggs and beef.

13. We believe our feelings are facts.

14. We want to cancel others we disagree with and people who hang around others we disagree with.

15. Pharma companies are second to tech companies in marketing spend to consumers.

16. We trade our sleep for more social media time, which messes up our sleep even more.

17. We are mentally unhealthy because we're physically unhealthy.

18. There's a health food section in the grocery store when it should be where the whole foods are.

19. We get exposed to the extremes on social media and think they are the reality we live in.

20. People watch mainstream news to keep us informed when they’re incentivized to keep us angry & scared.

21. We put focus too much on money & status and not enough on health, family & community.

I don't have all the answers but I believe that we can live better lives by doing the opposite of this list.
