There are days when words feel heavy and silence speaks louder. In a sombre and reflective mood, I joined my colleagues Rigathi Gachagua, Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa, Senator Cleo Malala, Senator Gloria Orwoba and other leaders to mourn with the family of the late Hon. Cyrus Jirongo and to share in their pain.

In an attempt to create the illusion of confidence she went to Monduli mlitary academy today but the place was swarming with PSU (presidential security unit) operatives who were even watching generals like hawks (most PSU officers are reportedly from Zanzibar).
The photos are raising more questions as the CDF Mkunda is only seen in one photo sitting rigidly expressionless next to her! This of course is not projecting confidence 🙄

So, the truth is, the shilling is not “stable” because Kenya suddenly became productive under President Ruto. This “perceived” stability is the result of more debt taken in US Dollars – from the World Bank, the IMF, and other places – and poured into the market to induce a short-term perception of stability.
