@floggingmolly It was at Waterstreet Music Hall which was too small a venue. I was a scrawny 18 y/o kid there with my dad. A mosh pit was starting and I was going to get swept away so my dad picked me up by the scruff of my neck and put me behind a bouncer. I got a newsie hat from that show.

@Northernlion I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago, just before Christmas! It was frustrating and embarrassing because I couldn't teach my ESOL classes and I had a planned vacation the following week so I felt like my boss thought I was trying to con her. I wasn't and she didn't haha.

@ManyATrueNerd I took one fencing class. I (20-something) was paired with a 10 year old for some light sparring at the end of the lesson. The instructor came over and in a Spanish accent goes "What are you doing? You look like you are playing pirates!" and I wanted to be like, "Well, yea!"
