Unfathomable that I am 30 years old living through this. The ineptitude for my entire adult life is not only baffling but grating as a fan spending time and money investing in this program.
Over the last 5 years, Nebraska has set the all-time record for the most one-score losses in each of the 1-19 year time frames.
The 2026 Huskers are just 1 more close loss away from tying New Mexico's 1986-2005 record for the most over 20 years all-time.
Not far off from the Rhule experience. Regardless I don’t know what it’s gonna take to get the loser mentality out of the program. Most infuriating part to me is do I pony up more money to even have a chance at keeping my tickets for next year. Is it even worth it? I feel no.
Matt Rhule vs. Dan Lanning & Curt Cignetti in 2H:
13 total drives
2 scoring drives
4 turnovers (1 INT, 3 downs)
5 punts (4 of those 3 & Out)
Nebraska had an 88.2% (IND) and 85.4% (ORE) chance of winning each game. Blew both. 0-2.
That's a 1.72% chance to lose BOTH games.
Play to get off the field then instead of sitting in a soft bend don’t break shell and letting fat boy run 16 plays down the field on your ass. Play to win. Offense was terrible but still doesn’t excuse the play calling and mentality at the end of the game.
Also don’t forget the classic once in a lifetime special teams blunder because we can’t spend 100k on a snapper that can do his fucking job and gift them 3 points when they couldn’t move the ball at all. Literally the same problems we had with frost. Husker football is a joke.
Coaching malpractice. How do you continue to drop 8 and give a guy you have seen crumble from pressure in these spots all day to throw. Absolute turtle job by Matt Rhule and Co. So tired of finding a way to lose these games because we’re soft.
Same shit for the last decade. Coaching malpractice letting that fat fuck sit back there with all day to throw dropping 8. How do we keep finding a way to lose these games. Team turtled just like every other time we’re in this spot. Playing not to lose instead of to win. #GBR
Dear Lincoln,
You’re beautiful!
Incredible spirit, energy, and passion tonight in The Haymarket District.
Congrats on a great season and your first NCAA Tournament win.
See you on The Road to the Final Four.
This is ONLY September.
Sincerely,
JR
The attendance at the Huskers volleyball game at Wrigley Field was 43,067.
The Cubs haven't had 43,000+ fans for a regular-season game at Wrigley since the 1978 home opener
Congrats to this legend on retirement. One of the best leaders the game has seen. I could not have asked for a better teammate to come into the league with and I’m proud of all our success together over the years.
