@JezCorden Concord was one of the main reasons that put me off PS. How can you get excited for any release then they pull it from you 2 weeks after launch? Microsoft / Xbox still supported Redfall and gave it an offline mode, then I bought it on disc.

@JezCorden They are all at, PS has been the worst with Concord, shutting it down only 2 weeks after release, then shut firewalk down, not giving it a chance to shine or even try putting into PS+ Premium or something. Now they are looking at shutting down Destiny 2 maybe Bungie, layoffs too

@xMBGx Then when PS do release a game like Saros, it does not sell well. With all the savings and time from not being able to buy/play Uncharted 5, Last of Us 3, Days Gone 2, Concord, KOTOR remake etc, I would have thought it would have sold like hot cakes.

@xMBGx Nah. Everyone is struggling with price raises and PS is the worst with PS5 now at £570 from £450, yet Series X is £500. The current times of gaming industry are not normal. At least Xbox still has games, and loads of them, unlike PS, and that is the most important thing.

@xMBGx Probably would but Sony do not have the money. They had to sell 51% of their Bravia TV business to TCL. If Sony were anywhere near financially solid would not have sold the majority of that business. Plus have no money to make games. PlayStation are far far weaker than Xbox.

@SynisterVee @nathantweet @TheRedDragon @asha_shar There definitely needs a way to rent games day one digitally, as can always do with disc, I have been renting games day1 since the 80s, on physical. Games like Sons of Sparta will have to wait until it goes into PS+. I am not buying all games for £70+, and GP has premium upgrades

@PassiveProphet It was taking too long, and it would have been another 6 years. Overall better than Concord. Plus Xbox released many more games still, PD was just a drop in the ocean. Concord was the ocean for PS. Overall Xbox has far more going for them

@Puertorock77_ Total rubbish, if this was said before 2023 then could see it, but after using Xbox since 2023 and PS5 from 2020, Xbox is currently the strongest of the three, whereas PS and Switch has gotten lame and boring. PS is more likely to be sold/dissolved than Xbox, PS is in worse state

@Puertorock77_ Its not something new, its perk of Xbox for years. The cheapest way to play Ghost of Yotei is buy the game digitally for £70 + buy portal for £200 + sub to PS+ Premium for £15 per month, and buy each game too. The cheapest way to play FH6 and hundreds more Xbox games is just £15

@Puertorock77_ Personally I may end up going back to N64, Gamecube, og Xbox/360, but retro gaming is getting expensive too as modern gaming is getting out of control. If Helix is £1000-1500 I am definitely getting it. A PC console is so cool and unique, definitely one to add to gamingcollection

@NotAZSportsGuy Except Xbox cloud as the purchase is also a download to console and/or PC too. Plus no money lost at all if bought with microsoft rewards. It is annoying buying games on disc at times, then I realise I can’t play the game on PC or via cloud options but only remote play

@DoesItPlay1 If there was enough room in the post I would have explained it better for you, but it is true for Ridge Racer 6, I can only play it from disc now, although not natively straight from disc, but digital not possible as didnt buy it digitally. If I dont insert disc it will not play

@DoesItPlay1 I would have mentioned about PS1 and PS2 games and they all need downloading, but I also did not want to create multiple posts and spam, like this, and trusted you to know what I actually meant.

@DoesItPlay1 From the beginning I said PS3 games need to play from the cloud. The whole point of the comment was “Xbox use disc, PS BC is all digital and does not use disc”. To get games from GOG that requires downloading first before storing on HDD. That comment is full unless go a blue tick

@1983_fabrizio @DoesItPlay1 GOG games in the future will become old games too. Will they work on Windows 13 for example? Xbox seems more committed to keeping games working through the generations now though. All generations of Xbox can play on Series from disc. PS3 games are only playable via cloud on PS5

@DoesItPlay1 unless already bought it, but then on PS it is risky with digital, as I bought the Persona 5 complete edition with game and loads of DLC, and I could not even redownload the main game, but fortunately had disc and installed it that way and I was able to download the DLC

@DoesItPlay1 Of course I know how it works it needs downloads, it is like PS5 free upgrades from a PS4 disc, but PS1 Dino Crisis disc cant be used to download PS5 version. To play that you need to sub to PS+ Premium or buy it digitally. If Dino Crisis gets delisted won’t be playable at all.
