@newstart_2024 I work in lab chemistry, but my office and laboratory are in separate buildings.
I get up from my desk to got to the lab for a specific task but have lost track of what it was by the time I get there, usually by giving myself 3 or 4 other, less important, tasks on the way there.
@moniza_hossain Some of the people who lost their virginity to a school employee 30ish years their senior still don't see that as abuse. The imbalance is so engrained.
@DJPAULETTE Hi Paulette - long shot, but do you know where I can find a copy of the 4hr disco stream you did in lockdown? You were wearing a glitterball hat.
It disappeared from youtube a while ago, but it's such pure joy that I miss it.
@leemc1377 The man really liked reggae.
And he was responsible for this. I could hear the reaction to Novo being sent off from inside my flat, a mile away from Pittodrie. ๐

@Go_SYH_In_A_Pig Eugh - this has resurrected some nearly-forgotten memory of a popbitch story. Something to do with "going in dry" if I remember correctly... ๐ฑ
@NickMotown I work in a science lab and this is my go-to every time a piece of equipment doesn't do the one job that it was built to do.

This seems relevant to your interests @SecretDJBook
Got to be honest & say I bought the Jannick PR schtick (someone in the music biz who isn't a creep!) up to the reflection on the Interscope/Death Row deal.
Being less risky is't inherently a good thing.

@SecretDJBook Short version - sign interesting, talented but inoffensive artists (Paramore, Ed Sheeran, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish) and implement a business management model called "flywheel effect". It's all very slick and seems to eliminate risks and maximise financial return.
