It is time that Britain & allies honour forgotten military. Medals posthumously? History books? Plus embrace @BlackPoppyRose as a fitting symbol and projects of inclusion.
I volunteer towards this. Your support would be a big push @britishfuture@britishlegion#VEDay80
Meet Dave, Big Issue vendor and artist. The refurbished phone he received through our partnership with @giffgaff has meant he can now take card payments to sell his magazines – as well as his brilliant artwork! #UpToGood#Ad

Public services are organised and delivered differently across England, Scotland and Wales.
All organisations that deliver public services are subject to the PSED general duty, but specific duties vary for each nation.

Remembering forgotten contributions 365 and 24/7 due to @BlackPoppyRose. Thank them for helping to right this wrong by sharing site info, buying pins and donating to aid its projects.
#VEDay80 would not have been won without our people.

Thank you to everyone who attended Leigh Day’s first #ImmigrationSummit. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share insights, and collaborate on key Immigration issues. We’re grateful to all our speakers, panelists, and attendees for making it such a meaningful event.
It's hard to believe that two years ago we were midway though our 50th year celebrations - and now, in 2025, we're in the second International Year of Co-ops in 15 years.
Tim Coomer, CCF's Business Development Manager said "It's been said before, but this year really feels 🧵⬇️
“We uphold and enforce the Equality Act. That means incorporating the Supreme Court’s judgment into all our guidance and explaining what it means to employers, service providers and other duty-bearers who must put it into practice” writes @EHRCChair

@JacquiMckenzie6 This event uplifted and delivered. Normally #immigrationsummit and Windrush are in political or community premises. Not this time. That venue and hospitality 👌🏾
Delegates engaged with leading orgs on many topics. Now @ukhomeofficeto act 🧐
Thanking @JacquiMckenzie6 et al 👏🏾
Leigh Day's Immigration Summit has come and gone. But the work, to pull together the ideas and thoughts of about 250 leaders in the immigration, asylum, Windrush and refugee space, is just beginning.
How do we decide priorities, help shape policy, create effective partnerships, and most importantly, be informed by and include the voices of those we set out to help?
The programme for the Summit was adorned by the powerful art of Zita Holbourne - beauty, terror and hopelessness all conveyed in one piece.
The artwork, Displacement, was manifested in human form during the opening ceremony when an actor presented an asylum lament - an extract of an asylum interview of a woman who hadn't seen her baby since leaving a holding camp.

Voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (VCSEs) are under increasing pressure, not least due to the unpredictability and short term nature of the funding environment, recruitment issues and skills gaps.
In the latest episode of our podcast 🎙️ #InsightforImpact, we discuss learnings from SQW’s evaluation of the National Lottery Community Fund’s (@TNLComFund) Dormant Assets NI Phase 1 Grant Programme, which aimed to build the capacity, resilience and sustainability of the VCSE sector in Northern Ireland.
Hear insights from Jacinta Linden, CEO of Bolster Community (@BolsterCom), a charity which received funding from the grant programme, alongside SQW's lead evaluators for the study, Lauren Roberts and Bill Carroll, who join podcast host Joe Duggett.
