@LynGrah77334182@ChrisMcKayReal@AshPolitik Not saying it will result in a 22% swing but most seats aren’t that safe. There is going to be large groups of outer suburban and provincial seats that will swing hard against the ALP.
@guyisdubious@peppercedar@PaulBongiorno It’s compulsory voting in Australia so the ALP votes went to ONP I think you’re liking at small scale issues as you don’t want to face reality
@TopherField@OneNationAus That’s why my local federal member who represents at safe ALP seat in an outer suburban area is running ads 18 months from an election, guess they are looking at internal polling.
@DrDunnyKruger That’s why my local federal member who represents at safe ALP seat in an outer suburban area is running ads 18 months from an election, guess they don’t have the same access to polling that you do!
@TomSwitzerMedia@JohnRuddick2 The trend is worldwide, there is a divide between the cosmopolitan inner city who have done well with globalisation and everyone else. We saw similar trends in South Australia and probably see similar trends in Victoria

@SWatMR11@Rutzie9@blowingtom2 But doesn’t result in an over 20% drop in primary support. There are probably more federal factors in that vote than where the candidate lives.
@SWatMR11@Rutzie9@blowingtom2 Maybe a few percent, but the majority swapped for other reasons. I live in an outer suburban seat with similar demographics and when have you ever seen a MP advertising in a reasonably safe seat 18 months out from an election.
@rohancct Young guys on this piss on their day off and being a bit cheeky, not news worthy. I bet the vast majority of the population have done a lot worse.
