@ibuildthecloud@CodexHere I implemented both x11 an and Wayland server on top of my compositor. Wayland is so much easier to implement, Claude can do it in a day or two, but took almost a week to get x11 working. And x11 is really bad at drag and resize a window. Maybe a skill issue for Claude though
@ibuildthecloud@davidfowl Dude, much easier to build a new window system than begging for Microsoft making right choices for end user. Windows is not important for Microsoft in terms of revenue.
@ibuildthecloud It’s pretty handy to baby sitting my pr, monitoring the build status every 10 minutes, if build failed, fix the build, then do it again
We’re happy to report that SJPD Sergeant Silva was officially released from the hospital this afternoon and is back home with his pups. We’re hopeful for his speedy recovery and thankful to the staff at VMC for taking such good care of our brother.
@ibuildthecloud What’s your best practice to run multiple sessions? I have hundreds of small tasks, some have dependencies, I am thinking writing a simple scheduler to schedule those tasks properly, launch one Claude session for each task, something like that. Is it overkill?
@ibuildthecloud I am doing this spec thing but I am still in the loop for a month now, now I am out of the loop with just a fucking bash loop, mind blowing.
Man how lucky are millennial devs, just as we’re getting too old and tired for this job, all the tedium gets magically removed and there’s an amplifier that makes all of our knowledge 1000x more useful (and necessary)
