There are some reported cases of significant illness with congenital measles. However, I'm not aware of any evidence that congenital measles leads to:

1. A baby who is not breathing at birth
2. Evidence of trauma on the torso
3. Laceration of the spleen

There is, however, substantial evidence that these can result from complications of labor, delivery, & newborn resuscitation.
