He's always the Dem apologist. So annoying. I live in Raman's district, and all I see here are people complaining about her (those who even know who she is.) She hardly campaigned at all, so the idea she had an advanced "ground game" is hilarious. Now watch her get 15% in the general.
@JOBhakdi It's pretty hilarious how so many missed that your post was satirical. I guess that speaks to just how nutty the actual arguments from the "left" have become.
There are few "liberals" in the Democratic party any more. We all left (those of us who remember what liberalism actually is.) And many of us voted for Pratt. And of course it matters if our vote was overridden by fraud, legalized or not, regardless of what Trump did or didn't do.
Miraculously these people only voted for the third place Democrat (whom barely anyone has heard of and whom is despised here in her district, CD-4) and not for the first place Democrat. Oh, and these mystery voters also voted just enough to eke out a slim victory for the sales tax increase. They're like magic!
California governor’s race
On June 3 Hilton was 27.6% and Steyer was 19.7%, a 7.9 point gap.
By June 8 Steyer was 22.4% and Hilton was 25.0%, a 2.6 point gap.
The formula needed roughly 3 more days of counting to get Steyer past Hilton. The pattern stopped the same day Steyer conceded. The numbers flatlined.
The bottom panel shows the gap closing in a perfect straight line and exactly where it would have crossed zero if the pattern had continued.
@Melissa_in_CA@E_Barcohana@spencerpratt This is what I predicted would happen if they were extremely lazy in carrying out their fraud. And this is either extremely lazy and/or utterly hubristic. Probably a blend of both.
@walterkirn I'm guessing somebody has far worse than the maid outfit videos, and that video drop was just a warning. I don't think he's this dumb. At least I hope not.
@TruthAnswersAll I spotted this trend from eyeballing the data early on, so nice to see it calculated. Question is whether this level of precise manipulation (vote shifting) is more likely to be carried out via physical ballots or back-end data manipulation. I'd guess it would be the latter.
@thejefflutz@KalshiPolitics Thanks, Jeff. Waiting nervously here in LA. Unless people have dealt directly with the city government under Bass, they have no idea how objectively horrific it actually is. There is no accountability, the City Controller is useless, and the media cheers it all on.
Wow, I hope this is accurate. Currently going back and forth with Office of Finance people. It's all so absurd and such a violation of administrative law that it would be funny if it weren't so evil. They all went silent a few days before the election. I sure hope they are sweating, because I have the receipts.
@ZaidJilani I think you need to talk to some gay people who are coherent, intelligent, and motivated by empathy rather than ideology. I fear you are way off the mark with this, and if you truly care about outcomes for gay youth, you should seek exposure to divergent points of view.
This is such a ridiculous strawman. You are way, way out over your skis here, Zaid. Those of us who lived as out gay people a few decades ago know exactly what it was like and how radically things have improved and will not tolerate such sophistry. By denying progress, you disrespect our sacrifices and endanger our gains.
It gets even worse when you consider why she was attending the inauguration, and the answer to that has to do with her role at NED, an "NGO" created to exert "soft power" - or, in other words, to elevate the interests of the permanent state over that of the Ghanese or any other population.
