I took 1.7 million photos over 6 days to catch this photo of a commercial jet in front of the sun.

Artemis II was a unique opportunity to get high-quality imagery of the moon, and Reid was gracious enough to capture some special image sets for me during the lunar flyby.

Not long after getting my first solar telescope, I caught this turkey vulture circling overhead.

You can tell this was taken during a time of low solar activity, zero prominences or active regions visible.

What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.
