Builders shipping this week: what's the ONE channel you'll actually show up on every day?
Reddit / X replies / cold email / SEO / TikTok / something weird
Ours is X replies. 34 followers, $0 on ads so far. #buildinpublic#startups
@gracejaphet_ The boring fix: pick ONE place your users already complain and show up there daily for 30 days. Most apps die trying 6 channels for 3 days each. That's literally why we built https://t.co/lulf7qOMdA, it picks the channel for your app type.
@chaijiang_ Congrats on 200 in 3 days 🙌 We're at 34 after 4 days of mostly replies, so clearly doing something slower 😅 What moved it most for you, connect posts or replies?
@iamwadeed 10 cold emails in week 1 is a start, but you need ~100 to see a pattern. Try 20/day for a week: same 2-line email, one question at the end. That daily habit is what we're building https://t.co/lulf7qOMdA around, free: https://t.co/NS8PMSApUp
@TheoNotifiled Smart angle. Inspection data is the best kind of lead list: public, dated, tied to an urgent problem. Bonus: reach out within 48h of the citation, before the re-inspection. Timing beats copy.
@ExtraBinoss Paid ads before you know who converts is just paying to learn what free replies would've taught you. First 50 users: answer people already complaining about the problem. Ads come after you can say "most signups come from X".
@akshdeeps_001 Hey Aksh 👋 Building https://t.co/lulf7qOMdA, marketing as a daily habit for devs who'd rather ship than post. Full-stack folks always ask us the same thing: where do my first users actually hang out? What are you working on?
@Augustusforyou https://t.co/lulf7qOMdA 👋 It turns marketing into a daily practice for solo devs: picks the channels that fit your product, free reach first, drafts in your own voice. 34 followers so far, all from replies, $0 ads. Free: https://t.co/NS8PMSApUp What are you building?
@techwithnanor Audience, but a narrow one. 300 people in one niche who trust you beat 10K random followers. A clone copies the code in a day, not a year of showing up in their corner of the internet.
@ticeymiller Test I like: if you can't name the exact thread, subreddit or group where your next 10 users hang out, the next feature won't save you. Write that list before the next sprint.
@SamVale29 And distribution compounds, so the moat is boring: a few useful replies, one post, one DM to a user, every single day. A clone ships in a weekend; that habit doesn't. We built https://t.co/lulf7qOMdA to make that daily bit easy for solo devs: https://t.co/NS8PMSApUp
@Sherifdeenolat2 Thank them for the free market research 😄 Read their replies and reviews, find the 3 complaints they keep ignoring, and make those your launch post. Second with a sharper angle beats first and vague.
@MbaziiraRonn Accidentally finding customers, but only if you post the problem, not the progress. "Shipped dark mode" gets likes from devs. "Spent 3h fixing invoices by hand" gets DMs from people with that exact pain.
Honest one 👇
Your first PAYING customer found you through:
a) a DM or a friend
b) Reddit / a forum
c) X replies
d) a launch site
e) still waiting 😅

@naveen_saradhi_ Hey Naveen 👋 We build https://t.co/lulf7qOMdA: daily marketing for solo devs who'd rather be coding. Free to try: https://t.co/NS8PMSApUp. What are you working on right now?
@Shivanshudev Tip for the welcome sequence: make email 1 a plain-text "what made you sign up?" note they can reply to. The replies hand you your positioning, and they help deliverability. Save the widget tour for email 2.
@LucasFlandre@treg_ai Flopped-launch threads as a lead list is smart. Pattern we keep seeing in them: launch day was the whole plan. The ones that recover pick one channel and show up daily for 30 days, not a relaunch.
