🚨 BREAKING: LA Mayor Karen Bass and Trump with a very tense exchange now... Bass is losing her cool over insistence from community members and Trump who say that clearly, people aren't being allowed back on their property soon enough.
TRUMP: People are willing to clean up themselves.
BASS: They can.
TRUMP: That guy right there that's talking - he'll be there tonight, throwing everything away. He doesn't want to wait. You have emergency powers just like I do. You need to exercise them.
BASS: I DID exercise them.
TRUMP: You can do everything within 24 hours.
BASS: Individuals can clear out their property.
ATTENDEES: When can we go back to our home?
BASS: We think... within a week.
TRUMP: That is a long time.
BASS: We want people to be safe.
TRUMP: You know what? They're not safe now. A week is a long time. I see hundreds of people not allowed to go on their lots. It won't burn anymore... it's done. They want to clean up. They are just standing there, saying they need a permit. Everyone says 18 months.
Saleh, Afghanistan’s former spy chief, adds yet another pot of U.S. taxpayer dollars funding the Taliban. Let’s break this down:
1. Up to $87 million per week: That’s the amount of U.S. dollars we fly into Kabul on planes. If this is new to you, check out this graphic for details: [Payments to Taliban and Al-Qaeda](https://t.co/gKWYZ8DPUG).
2. $10 million per month: This payment goes to the Taliban’s Doha office in Qatar to cover “administrative costs.”
3. $446 million in 2024: Allocated under “Operation Enduring Sentinel” (OES). For those unaware OES is a U.S. military operation aimed at counterterrorism efforts, particularly focusing on preventing terrorist organizations, such as al-Qaeda and ISIS, from re-establishing safe havens in Afghanistan and other regions. (Yes, seriously!)
Boy, some of that renowned Congressional oversight would be useful right about now, because this operation has clearly failed—miserably.
About Congress, when I briefed a number of Representatives about our funding of the Taliban, they asked me for a list. That's right—while being the body that approves how much of our taxpayer dollars go to the Taliban, they don't even know all of the U.S. government sources funding the Taliban themselves. There's no tracking or accountability involved, and once the Taliban receives the money, there's zero oversight on where it goes.
If you know of more funding pots, please add them. The graphic above also highlights another staggering number: $3.5 billion. This was taken from Afghanistan’s legitimate government reserves and funneled for use by the Taliban, conveniently parked in a Swiss bank account.
We cannot allow this to continue. We must intensify our efforts and bring more to the fight!
I told you this was coming, @sarahadams told you this was coming, @RooftopLeader told you this was coming, @realLegendAfg told you this was coming, @AhmadMassoud told you this was coming. Congress funded it (you heard this on my show), we warned them, we warned you. Nobody did a damn thing. Now we will continue to see the reality and the consequences of what open borders, and funding terrorism does. Remember, terrorists organizations that Bin Laden’s son leads are saying 50-60 Thousand Americans will die, and we are funding it.

@JimIrsay My husband is the biggest Bengals fan I know. He was 11 for their last Super Bowl appearance and saved up his money (at 11 years old) to buy these glasses. Held onto them for 31 years just waiting to get to use them during their next super bowl game. Been die hard forever!
