Maybe I’m making the percentage up but half of the people who work on open source want to work on open source so they can use GitHub instead of some in-house set of tools built in 90s and never been maintained since then.
@davidfowl Even good old code generation can raise the level of abstraction if I trust it enough to not to have to look under the hood at the generated code most of the time.
@davidfowl I feel more comfortable trusting a good library or language to raise the level of abstraction, even if they aren’t perfect, as long as the resulting code is easier to understand.
