"violence threats and intimidation"
The receipts are a bunch of redditors saying, "Maybe we should protest this."
You're rich. If redditors scare you that much, hire private goons, dumbass.
Violence Threats and Intimidation Don’t Belong in WA
I was supposed to speak today at noon to the Thurston County Mainstream Republicans at a restaurant in Olympia.
Instead, the restaurant received threats of violence and talk of protests in the street if the event went forward. They cancelled. Online, hateful reddit trolls posted my photo and were organizing to show up. (They have since deleted one of the posts.. hmmm)
Consider who this hurts. A small local restaurant, a room full of neighbors who wanted to hear about three ballot measures, and every Washingtonian who believes you answer speech with more speech.
We've seen this before. Signature gatherers for Let's Go Washington have been harassed, shoved and threatened. Signature sheets have been stolen, torn, or defaced, all by people who say they're fighting "hate."
So here's a simple request to No Hate in WA State: say it plainly. Political violence and threats have no place in Washington, and anyone doing it in your cause's name or agenda should cut it out.
We're looking into whether a police report has been filed. We will not be intimidated.
And neither should you. The best answer to people who try to scare you into silence is a ballot in a drop box: https://t.co/y0gvrF8YxQ
Vote YES. Vote YES. Vote YES.

He can go to his version of Epstein Island, a micronation on an abandoned oil rig that he named Galt's Outpost.
It's Japan-themed, and there's no age of consent
@weheartseattle Where are your reports on the outcomes of all the people you supposedly “helped” how many stayed housed? How many got clean? How many moved to permanent housing?
DESC has these reports. You have some number on a website. You claim that you have to “prove” results. Prove it.
"Private donations keep this work going"
WHS takes in 10-15x more donations than are needed to pick up trash for like four hours once weekly.
It's sitting on $800k in assets, at least. Andrea pays her "program directors" through a temp agency and gives them no benefits.
More unattended lethal drugs in our residential parks today. Nobody else is picking this stuff up, so We Heart Seattle is. Private donations keep this work going enables documenting the harm on the ground and pushing lawmakers for stronger penalties on narcotics in parks.
@weheartseattle Why are you reporting half as much activity and spending 10 times as much?
With 4x as many full-time “case managers” as you had in 2021, you should be helping 4x as many people, right? Not half as many.
We Heart Seattle spends 10x as much to pick up less trash and do half as many cleanup events.
It's taking in nearly $1 million annually. Where's that going?
2021 (First Year):
Expenses: $70.6k
Events: 107
Trash: 361k lbs
2025
Expenses: $732k
Events: 52
Trash: 270k lbs
@lindayen29@Mcmike4251 We file 100s of public records requests and publish five days a week across seven platforms, while spending a sixth of what Andrea pays herself in salary to pick up trash one day a week and post videos.
If you want to talk about being “swindled”
To everyone claiming, "Those weak liberal judges did it again!"
* Forensics established he didn't shoot anyone
* He had a plausible self-defense claim
* He's 15 years old.
With no significant priors, house arrest while awaiting trial is a just outcome for a minor.
@jimjames2002 That will all be resolved *in court* We are talking about pretrial detention.
Holding a 15 year old minor on house arrest for a weapons charge and a felony assault charge is appropriate. PERIODT.

@dunegrass00 Lots of people get into gangs when they’re young and do fine later on.
Not being incarcerated at a young age improves their chances of getting out that life and living a normal life. That’s what criminology research shows.
There’s tons

King County charged us $360 for this. Thank you to everyone who pitched in to help us cover it!
Join our Ko-Fi to help us with future expenses (link in the bio). Less than a cup of coffee or a gallon of gas in WA.
Let's be clear: King County Detective Shawn Peckham is not a misogynist.
A group of women simply conspired to kick him off an Alaska Airlines flight for elbowing a flight attendant and calling her a "bitch."
But he swears he loves his mama, his daughter—and his ex-wife
