@EdPiotrowski I was sitting in my Nashville dining room years ago, & saw series of flashes out of its NW facing windows. Heard no thunder; the news said those flashes were from a storm approaching from Clarksville, just under 50 driving miles away.

@CageyRatfish @thebiologistisn The rule we grew up learning is, "Leaves of three, let it be!" The plant was all over the base of trees in Nashville, and we learned to identify it early on and give it a wide berth. When doing yardwork, always wear long sleeves, boots and gloves.

People can order hats other places; Nashville should have plenty of hat shops (at least downtown had them in years past). Knowing your hat size will help

@Doug24Seven @Zigmanfreud @MVmrxlh They're still saying masks protect? The only thing a mask protects is these jokers' paychecks, studies, press time & corporate gloss. Masks do nothing to protect us from viruses. Masks are forms of torture, punishment, division, and are more likely to grow germs than stop them.

@InterurbanE I wouldn't call it adorable. This mask graphic stuff on the lions at libraries, museums, and on mascots of schools & sporting events is an eyesore. I think they should put the original Chessie logo back on the door as befits the classic railroads.

@DTNEtiquette How I travel: attentiveness to airport & flight crews, putting trash in its proper place (not leaving it for other to dispose of), bringing reading material to read at gate & on flight, & hand wipes, & snacks. Also the classic: speak only when spoken to, and give a civil reply.

@BlockClubCHI Riders never left, and neither did the CTA. The CTA has been there throughout this situation. This language about riders returning/travel becoming easier only tells one part of the story. TSA isn't making the situation easier by keeping mask mandates enforced.

@abc13houston I never consume alcohol the day before or during a flight. Being 100% alert to everything going on around you in the aviation environment is essential. In the drier environment of high altitudes alcohol is not the best idea for liquid refreshment.
