I have just learnt that 4000 young doctors have applied for radiology training for 2024.

The application ratio has gone from 8:1 to 11:1

This idiot is our health secretary. She thinks 'junior doctors' are 'doctors in training'. The reality is that they are all hospital doctors who are not consultants - in other words, the majority of all doctors, and many of them have considerable experience. Is she being deliberately insulting, or is she just gratuitously rude?

The Civil service grad scheme pays £27,000 and accepts applicants with a 2:2 in any discipline.
