FMGs – doctors who studied abroad & passed India's tough FMGE – are being illegally forced into 2–3 year unpaid internships in AP, violating NMC rules.
On Doctors’ Day (July 1), they staged a peaceful hunger strike in Vijayawada, asking for:
✅ 1-year internship as per NMC
✅ Permanent registration
✅ Stipend for their work

But what did the Kutami Govt do?
🛑 Sent police to silence them.
🛑 Banners torn, protestors dragged, voices suppressed.
🛑 Not a single word from @AndhraPradeshCM or Health Ministry.
Doctors ni roses tho kaadhu, rods tho greet chesaru.
Is this how a government treats young professionals who want to serve society?
This is not policy — it's punishment.
Not a medical rule — but a political scam to:
💰 Protect private college seat mafia
💰 Crush FMGs to increase demand & donations locally
💰 Push bright, young doctors into despair

Also to expidite the processing of pending FMR Applications.
