Defence Research and Development Organisation (@DRDO_India) successfully demonstrates multiple crucial technologies bolstering the nation's defence capabilities against different types of enemy threats.

Three consecutive flight tests were successfully conducted to demonstrate multi-layered defence against long-range ballistic missiles and Anti-ship capability at medium range.

Defence Minister @rajnathsingh congratulated DRDO for successfully conducting three consecutive flight tests.

He informed that these tests have put India in the elite group of nations having Ballistic Missile Defence Capabilities to engage Ballistic Missiles up to ICBMs.

The @DRDO_India has successfully demonstrated multiple crucial technologies bolstering nations defence capabilities against different types of enemy threats.

Three consecutive flight-tests were successfully conducted to demonstrate multi-layered defence against long range Ballistic Missiles and Anti-ship capability at medium range.

Multi-layered BMD capability was successfully demonstrated. The interceptors successfully engaged their respective targets. The systems are designed and developed with latest technologies to address the emerging missile threats.

These tests have put India in elite group of nations having Ballistics Missile Defence Capabilities to engage Ballistic Missiles up to ICBMs. Anti-ship defence at medium range was demonstrated during the maiden flight test of Naval Anti-Ship Missile-Medium Range. Congratulations to DRDO on successfully demonstrating these crucial technologies.

Another aspect if tractor operator uses 20 lit per day now he is asking for 100 or 150 lit stock and then crying not getting enough fuel. Another reason for high consumption.

A long (25+ km) tunnel is being planned for the Mumbai - Pune - Hyderabad HSR (bullet train) route to cross the Border Ghat area.

Such a long tunnel is needed to keep the gradient low (around 2 percent).

We should simultaneously build a parallel tunnel for regular (semi high speed) rail traffic as well. This is critical for regular intercity service between Pune and Mumbai and intermediate towns.

We should explore if building this tunnel along with the HSR tunnel can help us in reducing costs, efforts?
