Everton 25/26
More VAR mistakes (3) on pens than pens (2)
Only club in 7 years of VAR not to benefit from an overturn
No opposition player booked for a foul in the last 7 games (60 fouls)
Also, just 7 pens in 3 seasons (same as Leeds who spent 2 of those in the Cship)
"We need to go again. We've made some good steps in the right direction this season and done pretty well but we've been squeezed a little bit in January, not so much the run-in, but Jarrad Branthwaite has been a huge miss for us at the end of the season as well.”- David Moyes 🔵
I’ve said the same all year and it’s all come to fruition, I genuinely don’t know what we are, what we’re trying to do and what development is happening. So disappointing.
Staggering omissions- Trent AA, Adam Wharton , Morgan Gibbs-White . Such gifted progressive players who can change games. Think Luke Shaw needed to be in too as a class left back who knows the terrain. Jordan Henderson ahead of Wharton ? Really ?
Just a polite reminder the Fulham FC captain was sent off for this. An accident. Havertz far more intent and if anything higher with studs up. Pathetic league.

Every time I think the Premier League referees couldn’t get any worse, they seem to find a way.
The @FA_PGMOL and @premierleague should be embarrassed.
The best league in the world, with the worst officials.
VAR was brought in to stop teams losing leagues because of bad refereeing decisions. Instead, it feels like it’s doing the complete opposite more controversy, more inconsistency, and fans leaving every game talking about VAR. useless.
🚨Oliver Glasner just delivered one of the coldest press conference responses of the season
Reporter asked him about the title race and whether Palace could influence it…
Glasner replied:
“I checked my pay slips… I didn’t get any money from Arsenal or City.”
Then he finished with THIS:
“Our influence in the title race is definitely less than VAR.”
