Excited for the Yankees to have a stretch where they look unstoppable, then struggle heavily during the summer. Then have one good round of the postseason and then look abysmal in another and then the season will end. Every year. Same story. Baseball!

67 years ago today, ‘Take Five’ by Dave Brubeck Quartet was released as a single.

It went on to become the best-selling jazz single of the 20th century.

Opinion I’ll stand on forever, major sports networks such as ESPN shouldn’t promote betting in any way at all lmao. No mention of odds, o/u’s, anything. Highlights and opinions. They should cover the sports. If you want to cover betting, create a barstool type of brand.

You can not call yourself the worldwide leader in sports and try to push everyone to, really, irresponsibly gamble on said sports.

I like to bet a lot but I know there are a lot of people who want to watch sports for entertainment and want to watch experts talk about the sport, not about one player getting x yards in a quarter, for 20 minutes. Idk. I don’t like it. It’s not a good look.

Alex Rodriguez asked a question. Reggie Jackson answered it.

(Shouts to the producer and rest of the desk for staying out of Reggie’s way and just letting him talk. I doubt they expected this answer. But it’s a great few minutes of television.)
