@steveendow It may be that the next number has already been used. It can happen in high volume integrations. In GP some of the modules try multiple numbers forward but I seem to recall that eConnect requires you to handle that.

@steveendow If you leave the batch to be implicitly created, it uses the document date of the first transaction to create the batch. It is better to explicitly create the batch with the date that you would prefer.

@steveendow We do not have true real-time transactions. Things such as stock levels are proactively updated into Azure for realtime replies. We can process over 20k transactions a day through the ESB to GP.
