In 2025, Baker Mayfield dealt with a sprained MCL and PCL, a bad biceps contusion and an AC joint shoulder sprain. He was on the injury report 10 out of 17 weeks. On top of that -- Jalen McMillan, Chris Godwin and Mike Evans missed a combined 30 starts. Tristan Wirfs, Ben Bredeson, Cody Mauch and Luke Goedeke missed a combined 32 starts. Bucky Irving missed seven games and starting tight end Cade Otton missed one. Mayfield would be the first to agree with you that he needed to have played better down the stretch. But that context matters.
