Living next to Israel and on the Mediterranean Coast, Gazans would have one of the highest standards of living in the Arab world. They have one of the highest literacy rates. Their violence and terror created the embargo.

Enough with the apartheid nonsense. Israeli Arabs (21%) of the population have the highest standard of living in the Arab world. Look it up. Meanwhile in reality non-Muslims are persecuted almost everywhere. Ask yourself why do Muslims comprise 95% of the Arab countries. Whole societies were forced to convert and abandon their customs and languages. The settlements and the actions of settlers are awful but make no mistake there would be peace if they stopped being attacked.

You do realize that there are 480 million spread across 22 separate Arab countries that all speak the same language, practice the same religion (at least 93% are Muslims). Together these countries are twice the size of continental U.S. Israel is the size of NJ. Oh, only Saudi’s Arabia and Oman were Muslims originally.

I have lived in NYC for 30 years and the city experienced a complete decline when de Blasio was mayor. Only time I witnessed violence on multiple occasions, including gang members initiations by attacking unsuspecting old women, homelessness was rampant, subways unsafe. I am a life long Democrat, who never voted for a Republican on any national ticket. Mamdani would be a complete disaster for those who live here. If that is what the Democratic party has become count me and millions of New Yorkers like me out. Republicans will have a 50 seat majority in the Senate if this is the path we are on.
