I don’t believe he is arguing the general case. The distinction you appear to be missing is citizenship. We can have citizens that strive to legally strive to change our country into a socialist hellhole…. Seth doesn’t stake out a position on people here illegally - non citizens - working toward that goal in his post.

Once you are a citizen - and there are also natural citizens that don’t embrace the American ideals - then it is “freedom”.
The first step of a solution is a better, more rigorous process to become a naturalized citizen.
Deport the folks who are here illegally and scrutinize those who are here legally undermining our values.
