If Keir Starmer does resign, history will look back on his reign and scratch its head as to why the hell he was so hated.
On paper, he's probably delivered more to working British people in such a short time than any PM for decades.
After inheriting an absolute mess: NHS waiting lists fallen. Worker's rights improved. Rail operators nationalised. Improved relations with EU and improved UK's global reputation. Removed non-dom tax status. Halved childcare costs. Boosted state pensions. Lowest homicide rate in 50 years. Lifted 550k children out of poverty. Immigration vastly reduced.
We are in the age of billionaire funded misinformation, whose sole purpose is to topple democratically elected leaders, and insert leadership that favours the wealthy elites over the working people. Looks like the game plan is working...
It comes naturally to those of us who do organisational reforms. Most times, I just hold up a mirror to the organisation and ask them to explain why they do what they do in the way they do it.
They will always give you what sounds like plausible reasons but a lot of the time, it is because they have always done it that way or that is how everyone else does it. Sometimes, it is because someone (not the public) is profiting from the way it’s done.
An example was when we moved NIMC away from the focus on producing national ID cards (which they didn’t have the money to produce and give to everyone for free) to focusing on NINs. They couldn’t tell me why they needed cards when everyone knows their BVN but hardly anyone has a BVN card.
By linking NINs to BVN, passport, and driver's licence data, the switch saw them move from 7 million records after 7 years of operations to 127 million records 7 years after the switch of focus to NINs.
INEC can still not tell me why we need voters' cards when we already have biometric NINs but the struggle continues.😀
Messi went to PSG, Ronaldo started saying the SPL is better than Ligue 1.
Messi went to MLS, Ronaldo said the SPL is much tougher than MLS.
Messi won the Ballon d'Or and Ronaldo said the Ballon d'Or has lost its credibility.
Messi won the World Cup and Ronaldo called it a 6-7 game tournament and even said winning the Euro is much tougher than winning the World Cup.
The list goes on. He is obsessed with Messi, and it is making him go mad because Messi is not slowing down like him.
