Everyone moving from twitter to mastodon is very likely to fail because it is a collective action problem, benefits depend on others actions.
Here's how it can succeed. It will require your commitment for 1 month to do a few things. Read and retweet if you commit to do them.

We're looking for a Senior Engineer to help us bring Cozy Grove 2 to life!
This is a full time position. Great benefits, work remotely 100% of the time, no crunch, and you get to help make a lovely game that encourages empathy. What's not to like? https://t.co/dg1xBWo1Q0
You & the state of creative AI, a short 🧵
1) If you are an expert in a field involving writing or coding, you should use it now. Really.
2) Outside of your field, use it for fun, but be careful
3) Use it to boost creativity👇
4) It is improving VERY fast

@chrissvensson Yeah, unfortunately it seems like the UX issues are a huge deterrent to a lot of people I had hoped would take something like Mastodon seriously. Definitely not just you.
ChatGPT was dropped on us just bit over 24 hours. It's like you wake up to the news of first nuclear explosion and you don't know yet what to think about it but you know world will never be the same again. Here some interesting snapshots of this "explosion"🧵:
OpenAI’s new ChatGPT appears to defeat Hofstadter/Bender’s list of hallucination-inducing questions, published in The Economist this June to demonstrate the “hollowness” of GPT-3’s understanding of the world: https://t.co/Td7KxQe6Va
I really like how Twitter has connected me with friends and interesting strangers who are not in the game industry, and Mastodon doesn't seem to be great for that. I'll be feeling out Tumblr here: https://t.co/yPp2xbziFf
Do you consider yourself a Senior Gameplay Engineer? Do you love making polished and delightful experiences for players? If so, we humbly submit that you might really enjoy working with us. 🥰

This makes me want to write a whole "failures of Spry Fox" post. The problem is that, in my experience, people can fixate on arbitrary details of those stories and miss the bigger picture. Very hard to write/give advice that is actually helpful!
Interestingly, stories of failure may be more useful for learning.
They can be more easily applied than stories of success, especially if the story is interesting and you believe that it is important to learn from mistakes. Just be sure the story is true! https://t.co/0cxfFNpFu3
Midjourney pixel art is pretty cool. Still digging into a bunch of advanced variables that can be used in prompts. Need to figure out how to animate these.
Lest I forget: we wouldn't be where we are today without @EpicGamesPub and @hecterrific. Best publisher we've ever had by far. Any developer would be lucky to work with them.
