@Majsha@zer0_0nline@Beesechurger09 The video doesn’t show the complete shuffle.
But even if it’s not enough random, it’s not cheating. It doesn’t get him want he wants or prevent what he doesn’t.
And you give the deck to your opponent to cut or shuffle more if they want. So you don’t have control.
@zer0_0nline@Beesechurger09 Apparently we did not. :) Agree that the top of the deck is shuffled better than the bottom. There's no way he knows what card ends up at the bottom there, and he's still shuffling when the video ends, so we don't see the full shuffle. Concluding it's cheating is just nuts.
@Beesechurger09 So calling it cheating is just too much (even if it's others and not you) is really diminishing his great accomplishment. I've known him for a while and seen the hard work that's gone into getting where he's gotten. Again, am truly sorry for being too aggressive above. Congrats!!
@Beesechurger09 Yeah, I hear you. Didn't mean to be so aggressive to you. Congrats on a great run! As I said elsewhere, I just can't see how what's in that video would allow him to keep a bad card low or a good card high, esp since you can shuffle, or cut, or do nothing to it when he's done.
@CuevasASecas@Beesechurger09 Complain that he should shuffle better, ok. I don't agree or see it that way, but the idea that this makes him a cheat or diminishes his win... just no way.
@CuevasASecas@Beesechurger09 I don't see what you do, but if it's an example of insufficient randomization, it's not cheating. There's no way that doing lets him know where a card is. Even a bad shuffle, if every card moves, means you don't know where it is. And your opponent can give it a shuffle or cut.
@Beesechurger09 I should have said that this sounds like sour grapes.
I can’t see at all anything here that gives an advantage. The top cards move, everything moves.
Just credit the victor. Maybe you don’t like him, but if this is the evidence that he’s cheating, that’s nothing.
@Beesechurger09 Wait, this is the “cheating” allegation?
This is just sour grapes.
1) the bottom of the deck gets placed over the top half, so nothing is staying in place.
2) there’s 10 or so of these shuffles. That’s fine.
3) if you think he isn’t doing enough, shuffle more
@brddllr@CheezyVGC And that prime catcher is a great call. Definitely underused, especially in Slowking. I did not see that coming in game 2, and then figured I was dead in g3 because it was going to show up and cook me.
@brddllr@CheezyVGC Appreciate that. Yeah - he made day two for the first time. Started 0-2-1 and was so down but then he roared back with 5 straight wins. Never seen him so happy as he was after round 8.
@JohtoChamploo@jaylattimore4 Sure. Makes it easier and resistant to tool scrapper. And with it giving up only 2 prizes, could be an improvement for sure.
But 2 prizes that are easier to take out.
