It's pretty crazy how low my engagement numbers are. I get it. I don't post much here and what I do post is all over the map. But still, even by accident I would think I'd get at least a couple views.
It's fine though. It's good practice to collect my thoughts and share them and maybe over time I'll figure out what I'm trying to do here.
So many one-shot AI expository slop posts signaling "thought leader" on LinkedIn is a little depressing. Can we just talk about how crazy everything this is right now like the freaked out humans we really are?
There is a real path to a better, awesome future where we all have deep, rich lives, but it's not through the subjection of purpose. There's no version of a better, awesome future where the evidence of our human value is in posting algorithm-feeding AI content model outputs on LinkedIn.
This is effectively saying “don’t trust anyone.” (If not experts, then who?) That’s an easier message to sell so not sure why they aren’t going with that if not to reserve “trust” in themselves without credential.
