@Wiglette @ziibiing Being sad and angry is justified and valid, IMHO emotions should come and go like waves and to be stuck in negativity is literally unhealthy. It can make your body sick, so trying not to dwell in sadness is the best option for movement longevity.

@patiencezalanga if you think there is an adhd component to your struggle and you might want meds someday, you might try the adhd diagnosis first. My son is autistic and I have accepted I likely am too, but the attention stuff has become most pronounced & I got confirmed adhd from testing

@djmarkfarina while those would be fairly easy to make, I would omit the beads contacting the cabinets as they would rattle. You could even build the speaker wire into the macrame. Also, obviously designed by someone without kids.

@nubient @theandydurrant I just end up paying other djs who play for us more than I make for hauling everything thereand setting it up.And It is a lot of work! Get some whippersnappers to run the night for ya and let you open every week for 2-3 hrs. Then at least it wont be you losing money. 😂iykyk

@MojaxxDJ @SecretDJBook I do use a 1/8 TRS minijack to 1/4” TRS adapter cable that is about 2 ft long for mobility while mixing/streaming.

@MojaxxDJ @SecretDJBook I use IEMs. Have been a bit over a year and I love it. Shure wired ones. not the most expensive version but one down. There is a hook that goes over my ear and I usually dont have the right one inserted, and often use split cue wih the mix in the right.
