It is unbelievable when you think about it. We had Baker Mayfield, the number one overall pick, and we decided nah let’s send him packing, sell the farm, and trade for Watson.
For the people that say let it go? It's hard when you see him playing like we all knew he could when he was in a Browns uniform.
This shit goes way beyond Deshaun Watson.
Jameis Winston wouldn’t have fared any better today.
This isn’t a QB problem.
This is an offensive design/coaching problem.
This is exactly what happens when you try to cater your players to an offensive philosophy, instead of the other way around.
This entire offensive roster was hand-selected to excel in a movement based, run-centric scheme.
You can’t expect to have the same type of production and effectiveness occur when everyone is doing something they they’re uncomfortable with.
I knew from the moment that this team announced its initial 53-man roster that there was going to be a problem on offense.
Only keeping 2 TE’s on the initial roster immediately screamed to me that both Stefanski and Dorsey are planning on doing something that they’ve never done before, which is rely heavily on receiver play.
At this point, I’m not even 100% sure that it’s fixable in 2024. It’s sad because I believe that the wrong people/players are taking most of the blame. #Browns #DawgPound #NFL
The Muni Lot, the Pit, the Flats, the lake, the river, the bridges, the bars in the Warehouse District in buildings that have been standing for 150 years. The Haslams want to take all this away from us to make us tailgate in the parking lot of a Margaritaville in Brook Park and then go inside to watch the Browns play football even when the sun is blazing on crisp fall days. Insanity.
