Egypt wants to use the water from the Sudd wetland to reclaim the desert for Agriculture, and some corrupt elites who sit on the negotiating table to decide for us don't see anything wrong with it. Until we stop being gullible will continue to be an open game. #SSOT

@MajangChien @nbiweb Egyptian government are behind this proposal of Jonglei Canal bc our government received millions of dollars to accepts the project...they don't know what Dr John Garang was fighting, it's Creating the different channel of water stream and this will hunt us in 5/10 years.

The idea to resume the Jonglei canal project is to help Egypt receive a huge volume of water to boost her insatiable appetite for Agriculture but to the detriment of the Sudd wetland ecosystem. It was halted by the brilliant brains. It's still will be put to a stop. #SSOT
